Clubs: Enriching Student Life at AUW
Nusaiba

Dr. Dave Dowland, Dean Rania Kassem, and Ms. Romana Akter inaugurated the Club Fair by cutting a cake. Each club got the opportunity to introduce itself in the beginning of the event, and students visited different booths throughout the event to learn more about each club, whilst signing up for their favorite ones. The EBs made sure that the booths were decorated with creative and colorful posters. To encourage the students in getting involved with extra-curricular activities and pursuing their interests, some faculty and staff also visited the Club Fair.
The 20G rooftop was
buzzing with zest and enthusiasm on 12th September from 12.30 PM to 3.00 PM.
Why, you ask? Because the Club Fair was going on!
The Club Fair was organized
by OSA in order to familiarize students, faculty, and staff with the different
clubs at AUW. In a community as diverse as ours, having several clubs is a
must. It provides students with the opportunity to participate in engaging
activities and explore new things. The wide variety of clubs at AUW reflect the
diverse themes and topics AUWians are interested in. This year there were 33
registered clubs at the Club Fair, which is the highest number compared to
previous years.List of clubs for the academic year 2019-2020 |

The Club Fair brought all
the clubs of AUW under one roof, and showcased the passions and talents of
AUW-ians! At the end of the event, students enjoyed dancing to upbeat music.
With the semester going in full swing, students look forward to a fruitful year
ahead, filled with exciting and worthwhile activities.
